Recording seems to stop
Open Wayback › Settings › Recording health. Location should say Always and Precise location On. Each row has a Fix button that takes you to the right setting. Low Power Mode makes iOS record less often until it’s turned off.
A place has the wrong name
Tap the place’s name on the Day screen and pick the right one, search for it, or name it yourself. Choose Always use here and Wayback remembers it for next time.
Importing Google Timeline
In Google Maps on your phone, export your Timeline data and save it to Files. From Google Takeout, unzip the download in Files first. Then open Wayback › Settings › Import Google Timeline. Wayback shows what it found before anything is saved.
Moving to a new iPhone
Your history is part of your iPhone backup, in iCloud or on your computer. You can also export everything as a Wayback file in Settings and import it on the new iPhone.
Wayback Plus
Wayback Plus is managed in your Apple Account settings: Settings › your name › Subscriptions. To restore a purchase on a new iPhone, open Wayback › Settings › Wayback Plus › Restore purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Exporting your data is always free.
Deleting your data
Settings › Delete all data removes every place, visit and journey from your iPhone in one deliberate step. Deleting the app removes it too, though an older iPhone backup keeps its copy until that backup is replaced. We hold no copy to delete.
